Greetings all,
I would like to ask a bit of advice from you all, if you could. Heres the story:
I work in a small trainings center for the unemployed, and the classes/lectors change much too often, so we must print out new calendars (which we then pin on the wall for the students to check before going to class) almost daily. It is a very archaic method, so I thought it would be nice to put an update-able and individual calendar on our website, based on the four groups we have, and have them see any updated content. If something was changed in the calendar, they could receive an email alert.
It doesnt have to be totally personalized, since we only have 4 groups. People dont need a login or anything of the start, just an update-able calendar for all to see on the webpage without having to come to the main office daily to check where they should go. If I could produce an ical file or something of the sort, all the better, since then they could synchronize the file with their mobile phones.
I was told by a friend that this could be accomplished with php, is this true? If so, could any of you point me in the right direction? Perhaps there is already a script that could help me and id just have to tweak the code a bit?
Thanks in advance for your time and help.
Sincerely,
Miguel
