SourceForge Trackback Script

Hi, I want to use SourceForge’s PHP Trackback script, but there’s not really any documentation on it, and I don’t understand how to use it. Could someone give me specific directions on how to implement this script?

First of all I am a bit confused on why you want to use something that you don’t really understand… However, I would start with the resources available on sourceforge’s page.

from the link you provided you can click on a link for the Developer Info (ranarusi) http://sourceforge.net/users/ranarusi/. Although you do have to register and be logged in, that would be a good place to start.

The other thing you could do is utilize the forum on sourceforge’s site.
http://sourceforge.net/forum/?group_id=97236 specifically for this topic.

I do not, unfortunately, have the answers you seek, so I provide the above instead.

I wanted to use it because it’s the only php script I can find to send and receive trackback scripts.

I found another script that only sends trackbacks, and I got it to work. I have not found any php scripts except the sourceforge one that can receive trackbacks.

I still do not understand how to use this script, and I am getting frustrated with it. There are not many instructions, and the ones that are there are confusing and not helpful. The page on sourceforge has no information at all, and no one answers me in the forum.

Surely someone can figure it out? :(
