I just met with a property management company who wants a website for commercial and residential - they want the residential to have condo layout plans as well as option for residents to make rent payments online (probably with authorize.net).

They want this website “simple” and I am mostly looking for a customizable web template (not a cookie-cutter website) to integrate photos, text, etc.

I’m not sure how many units they manage, but I think it’s under 100. Is there a PHP based software I could consider for this? I want to be able to install it on their own domain (if possible).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I think https://wordpress.org/ would do the trick for you. Though I’m not the person to really ask for I never really got into WordPress.

Are you looking for a drop in solution or something that you modify? Drupal comes to mind, WordPress, Joomla. It all depends in what you know and are comfortable with and what their time frame/ budget is.

The units they manage is not an issue if this is done properly, could be over a thousand. A simplistic website is one thing, but if you get into the management side of things it’s a whole new game that can go from simple to loaded very quickly. And I hope your contract is very through in the document scope.
