Is it possible, has anyone actually done, resizing outside images on the fly with php
I tried for 1 or 2 full days, with no luck. But then, no luck rescaling images on same host either. Also, I am finding it nearly impossible to get any php answers on any forums.
Off topic: Personally, I hate javascript with a passion. Slows everything down. I can include a local file via php with a half second page load slow down. While javascript slows page load 7-14 seconds. However, a good community and easy documentation (chm, is the best), is the most important thing of any language.
What exactly do you want to do with the resized image? Are you just wanting to display an image smaller?
