Hello all, another convoluted question.
I have a breadcrumb that is working very well, but it is listing the directory that the file is contained in as the previous “crumb”. Is there a way to set the page rather than the directory as the preceeding crumb? I would rather not have my users getting lost when they go to click back to the list of educational topics (or the alphabet for the dictionary) and end up in the directory rather than the page they were at.
I realize this question is clear as mud, so see the example below for clarification (I hope…)
eg:
what is: home (/home/alexrows/public_html/index.php) > educational (/home/alexrows/public_html/educational/) > dictionary (/home/alexrows/public_html/educational/dictionary.php)
what I would like: home (/home/alexrows/public_html/index.php) > educational (/home/alexrows/public_html/educational.php) > dictionary (/home/alexrows/public_html/educational/dictionary.php)
educational.php is the “index pg”(I say this loosely, it is the page containing all the links to the different educational sections) of the contents in /home/alexrows/public_html/educational.
and…
It goes on one step deeper again:
home (/home/alexrows/public_html/index.php) > educational (/home/alexrows/public_html/educational/) > dictionary (/home/alexrows/public_html/educational/dictionary/) > A (/home/alexrows/public_html/educational/dictionary/a.php)
I doubt that I explained this well enough to make anyone understand, so please feel free to take a look for yourselves @alexrowsell.com.
Also, if you happen to understand what I am asking and would like to see the breadcrumb script I used, let me know. It is quite long.
