putting php/mysql site online and live

seems when I wrote my index.php page I included a login file

now, nothing is displayed in the storefront because i deleted said login file from the page

to display basic storefront items, there should not be a required login, right?

but how do I give general public access to this index page which shows items for sale without giving them access to entire db by using login file?

There must be something that tells the code if logged in else hard to tell you what to do without code.
