PHP/YouTube upload help for website

Hello,

I have a website that allows users to upload videos which are then added to our youtube channel. These are then shown on a separate page on the website with search functionality but I am experiencing a few issues.

The website is live but as I have a placeholder page under the homepage you’ll need to access it at: www.thrashcams.com/index2.php.

Here are the issues that we are facing:

  • You’ll see that there is a “Video Upload” form at the bottom of each page, when this is clicked on the “index2.php” page it appears behind the Twitter and YouTube boxes (this upload form needs to appear at the front)

  • The “Video Upload” form is working okay as it will upload videos to our YouTube channel correctly but they will not display on our “vids.php” page (this is accessed by clicking “Rate the vids”)

  • We would like the “Cancel” button to stay active in the “Video Upload” form while a video is being uploaded in case the user wants to abort the process.

Please let me know if this is easily fixed, cheers Matt.

Try setting the z-index lower in your CSS for the Twitter box and higher for the popup… or just remove all z-indexes.

Your videos might not be showing up correctly due to incorrect API usage. Make sure you’re accessing content correctly. More information below…

Your popup window needs a CLOSE [X] link or button. This could also serve as the “cancel button” so you can eliminate the cancel button.
