I generated a picture of a business card with Picture it Publishing under QP.
When I look up this picture with Windows 8 is now .PHP.
How do I convert to a format that I can access?
Help would be appreciated.

While the extension is .php, it’s not the type we deal with. Best of luck.
Bill,
The problem is that crazy Microsoft decided to use .php for it’s extension for the Picture-It software for
image formats. There are a few work-arounds to solve this. First, if you have the Picture-It app still
around, just load it up and save the image as a .PNG file. Or, you can even open it into MS Publisher.
I think there is also a utility to convert them, but, I have not been able to find it so far for you.
Here is a link to one explanation how to do this…

Picture it can still be downloaded, but, it may not work on your Windows 8 system… You can install it
in compatibility mode or create an XP emulated system and run it under that. Here is the link to download
it… http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8046
It’s always nice to hear when Microsoft screws up… Ha!
