i dont know what it is called but many forums have bits showing who is on the website and how many people are veiwing a page, is this done in php? how could i get it to tell me how many people are on my site at a time?

I would have to say there is several ways of doing this. One is probably using sessions. I have never delt with this before, but I am sure someone here has a good efficent way of doing so.
I don’t really know if there’s an exact code, but i know a counter called silvercounter. You just have to install it.
