I have a website for uploading songs , so when people upload their files it will be copied to /uploads/ folder.
The Thing I’m asking about is when the file uploaded ,I Made a Link of the Song directory (e.g: mysite.com/uploads/song.mp3) . but when i use this link it wont do anything , just a quicktime page.(I DONT WANT THIS )
i want a link of (e.g: mysite.com/file.php?id=song ) will be visible to the visitor . So i can add content to file.php page and the content will be changable due to the song ID . please help me . i searched about it and found just the “[php]Uniqid() [/php]” but i dont know how to use it like what i have.
and BTW , the same idea of the uploading songs , Making a page or thread in PHP like this (e.g:mysite.com/forum/[b]forumdisplay.php?f=6/b]) the id of Forum, so when u make a new forum it will be “f=8” How is that???
