Hey would anyone able to help me with htaccess i still dont really understand it? I’m trying to rewrite a url.
right now i have https://www.site.com/index.php?key=(link to key) but i just want https://www.site.com/
I’ve been trying to do it with rewrite engine but as i said i dont really understand it and im not how to go about it.

Instead of explaining from scratch, here is a link to a simple tutorial on how to do this.
Please look down about 1/3 of the page down and look at Example#2 which does what you want to do.
It also explains other things that you should know if you are planning to use this on your site regularly.
Once you get it coded, ask any further questions or at least show others how you ended up doing it.
