Install existing site onto Wordpress

How do I install an existing site onto Wordpress??

Grazin, that is a bit of a job. First, are you installing a “TEMPLATE” or planning on creating it yourself?

WordPress is a back-end administrator system that uses a template and alters it as you need it to.
Therefore, if you are using a WordPress “TEMPLATE”, you first install WordPress, then install the entire
template. Lastly, you then customize the template for the look and feel you want.

Without using a template, you just install WordPress and manually build a template. There are many
instructions on WordPress site that should help you. Much easier with a template. Lots of the are
available for free.

So, again, are you using a “TEMPLATE”?

Hey ErnieAlex,

I built the website on my own using HTML5/CSS3.

regards,

Grazin bro

Grazin, well, if you already have the site, you need to install WordPress first.
Then, alter your existing site to use Wordpress on the pages you want it to control.

Here is a site at WordPress that talks about how to get started.

Here is another site that talks about implementing an existing site into WordPress…

Since WordPress is really “blog” orientated, it has a lot of options for graphics, users and messages.
Lots to do to add it to your site as you have to turn your site into more of a template where you want
the data from the WP-Backend-Admin-Controlpanel part. But, once you get into it, it goes easy enuf!

Good luck, hope that helps… Ernie
