How to do If-Else condition inside the HTML file

I just want to add if-else condition like, inside the class(<td class="email-heading">)

I don’t understand. This has an if else in it, that should show you how to do it. What are you struggling with?

@astonecipher I am using Magento 1, this is an email HTML template, here how to embed PHP if-else condition. Thank You.

What is the if condition predicated on? What are the conditionals?

I don’t think you can add php in a html file, you need to rename it to .php
I guess you can do it with htaccess but that’s not recommended

PHP in HTML - file extensions

When a given file contains PHP code, it must have a PHP extension. In most cases this is .php, but you can also configure the .htaccess file to read the PHP code in the HTML file without renaming it or changing its extension. Below you can view the “handlers”, which will have to be added in order to achieve this

For a normally configured web server:

AddHandler cgi-script .html .htm
