$_GET only getting first part of the date

Hi, im probably doing something really silly but i cant work it out, so any help with be appreciated.

On the homepage i have links that look like this below.

Banking & Financial Services

When echoing out the $_GET[‘level’] on the index page in the industry folder i only get “Banking” and its the same with all the other options that contain &'s

that’s because you can’t have any spaces in the url.
