Events disappearing about 24 hours before they should on listing page

This is driving me CRAZY. I went through all the code and cannot figure out why this is happening:

My site is www.refreshrefresh.com. The main page features event listings, and each event is (supposedly) set to disappear from the “upcoming events” tab as they begin. However, they disappear 24 hours ahead of time! My php.ini is set to the correct timezone, as is my internal wordpress settings. Can someone please tell me why this may be happening? This seems to be specific only to this particular listing. Other features of the site seem to work OK.

Please post the code for the upcoming events item, and also the code of how the time is generated and then stored.

might be worth checking the timezone on the server, have you restarted apache since changing the php.ini? sometimes helps
