Error in CMD when installing composer

Hi,

I am trying to install composer for PHP.

However while trying to check if the installation is working correctly via CMD I get a message that it’s not.

I am using the following “php composer.phar” in CMD.

I made a video showing the stages that I am going through in order to install composer and the error I am receiving.

The error I received is

“could not open input file: composer.phar”

In the video I attached I show the error I get.

I am attaching a screenshot what happens when I write composer only with out the “phar”

Does this mean that everything is working correctly?

Yes it seems to be fine. You should run composer self-update to get the latest version though
