Connecting to localhost on a Mac

I have created an index.php file and placed it in the Applications/MAMP/htdocs directory but I cannot execute it from Aptana. I shows a very unhelpful message from Firefox: “Launching Firefox - Internal Server has encountered a problem. Launch URL is not defined”.

Any advice?

Well, this post is old, did you resolve it as yet? If not…

You can open your MAMP control panel and click the menu “MyWebsite” and you should see your page.
Or, in a browser such as Safari, enter http://Applications/MAMP/htdocs/index.php (Not sure of the http on Mac’s!)
