Clear form when clicking another tab

Hi folks,

I’m a real n00b in php / js land, so I hope you can help me out here.
It’s a Joomla component, so I hope that’s not a problem…

It’s a simple looking price calculation tool. When you make some choices and go to another tab, the options selected in the earlier tab are still active. Is there a simple way to fix this? I attached the php file.

Actual code here helps.

I am not familiar with Joomla, but I would imagine there would be some sort of event to tap into that would allow you to clear a form.
