im building an online store+cms, shopping cart and so on.

my question is, is it possible to make an calculation system that automatic gives an % of how much an container is filled when people order 50 times an product from the size 120cm

and add another product like 50 times a product with the size 150cm. so my container shows a 15%filled .

because ive got no idea how to set this up, anybody got an idea? my books nor other websites can provide me with any clue.

sizes are in cubic meter

container : 26.896 CBM 55.209 CBM 66.534 CBM

product sizes: 120cm=0,075CBM 150CM=0,099CBM 180cm=0,14CBM 210cm=0,200CBM

Yes, it’s all possible, it’s just math…

You’ll need to build it into you shopping cart and test it. I’m assuming you’re using a pre-built shopping cart. If you we building it from scratch. I don’t think you’ll be asking this question.

What I assume you are asking for is a mod to the shopping cart that you are using which doesn’t exists and the best course of action if you have no PHP Experience would be to hire someone from that community to build it for you. You can also post in the hire a freelance section on this forum and hopefully someone will contact you.

If you attempt to do it yourself and you get stuck, I’ll do my best to push you in the right direction.
