after upgrade php5.5, website filled with unrecognised symbol

after upgrade of php5.5, there are brunch of unrecognised symbol coming out above the head of webpage. It seems like Zend is generating something out of the head but i have no clue what’s wrong with the configuration.

i tried to google but seems there is no similar issue and what should i do to debug now ?

You have a problem with character encoding. Click on my profile name and look to my recent posts. I answered this for somebody else recently. I am not able to get into detail right now.
