Activity In Profile?

hey i wanna to add a Activity In Profile function to profile, it kinda like the smf mod http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=2593 … but i not sure how to begin so would be thanksful if you could link me to a script like that or just tell the step what i shall start with ?

i am not asking you to write any codes , as i early said just say wanna know what to do in the theory , like “add database and record all the actions”
