# Posting Urls?

Hi, I was wondering why we can’t post URL’s. at first I thought it was similar to the signature thing where you had to have a certain number of posts.  
I was just wondering as I’ve found it easier to help users by linking them to the [php.net](http://php.net) manual specifically for certain functions.

Hi RaythXC,

To post urls members need to have at least 25 posts and 10 days since their registration date. I know this is not too convenient, but too much people come here for just link spam ☹  
There are several other [ways to stop forum spam](http://www.phphelp.com/forum/index.php/topic,15407.msg49605.html#msg49605) implemented on this forum, so if you’re getting error message when creating/editing your post - there’s likely some stop words in your message.
