I am working on a DB interface which is written in PERL. It is functional but very bulky. I wanted to Convert to PHP since I know a bit more about PHP then PERL but alot of the functionality would be lost.

What I am wondering is how would I combine the scripts or sub programs that were written in PERL and have PHP read them or would it just be easier to get a book on PERL and try to learn that language.

php and perl are very similar. so i don’t think u need a book to get it done.

i gess u would have to modefy the code a littlebit to make it availebil form php:
check out this topicas well: combining php with perl
