Spymac's Gallery and Avitar Thumbs - HOw to?
« on: April 29, 2004, 06:02:26 PM »
If you go to the site http://www.spymac.com and look through their gallery you'll see that each picture is in thumbnail format, but they also have a frame border which looks to be chosen at random. Now i was wonderig if i could use php to do the same type thing with a directory of pictures?

Im not totally new with php nor am in a pro, im getting into my groove. so if anyone could help me out that would be great. thank you.

Not possible, sorry. That was done with some sort of graphics manipulation program.

Though, in theory, if you could write a simple macro with the instructions to outline pictures with borders at random, you could probably find a way to call it from PHP.

Man. That site is very impressive. Looks like alot of work went into it.
Rather then be like most men who want the world to know them; I want to know the world.
