General Database / Newbie help needed: Posting to PHP

Hello
Thanks in advance for your help.
I use coffeecup website search to build my site search engine.
It produces a .txt file which hold all the search data and tags,, a PHP file to process the search request and an XML file which defines the layout of the results page.
My problem is that the search input box that is produced by the CC programme is in flash and as we all know flash doesn't work on Iphone or Ipads.
I would be very grateful for some guidance, help to replace the flash search box with a traditional html form. I have tried myself with a simple post or get action form directed to the php file but I must be missing somthing.
